    which rational number is to be added and subtracted in the quadratic polynomial x^2+3x+1 to complete the square …….

    \huge\mathtt{\underline{Answer}}

    1x²+3x+1=0

    There is Coffcient of x²=1

    So, we have to Multiply -\frac{1}{2}to Coffcient of x and have to square it…

    \frac{ - 1}{2}× coefficient of x

    -\frac{1}{2}\times{3}^2

    -\frac{-3}{2}^2

    \frac{9}{4}

    Hope it’s helps you ☺️

    So, we have to Multiply -1/2 to Coffcient of x and have to square it…

    ( \frac{ - 1}{2} \times coffcient \: of \: x)^{2}

     ( \frac{ - 1}{2} \times 3)^{2}

    ( \frac{ - 3}{2} )^{2}

     \frac{9}{4}
