    Let the first angle be x

    and the angle will be (x+18)

    x+x+18°=180°

    2x=180°-18°

    2x=162°

    x=162°/2

    x=81°

    so the first angle is 81°

    and the second angle is=81°+18=99°

    AnswEr:-

    Your Answer Is 99° And 81°.

    ExplanaTion:-

    Given:

    • Two supplementary angles differ by 18°.

    To Find:-

    • The angles.

    Concept Used:-

    Sum of two supplementary angles are always equal to 180°.

    So let the angles be x and y.

    Therefore ATQ:

    ↦ x – y = 18° ... eq(1).

    Also by using concept we get,

    x + y = 180° ...eq(2).

    By adding eq(1) and eq(2) we get:

    ↦ (x – y) + (x + y) = 18° + 180°.

    ↦ x – y + x + y = 198°.

    ↦ 2x = 198°.

    ↦ x = 198°/2.

    x = 99°

    By putting the value of x in eq(1) we get:

    ↦ x – y = 18°.

    ↦ 99° – y = 18°.

    ↦ y = 99° – 18°.

    y = 81°.

    Therefore the angles are 99° and 81°.
