    ⇒ 11y – 11x = 55    …(ii)

    By substituting the value of x from equation (i)

    11y – 11(11-y) = 55

    11y – 121 + 11y = 55

    y = 176/22

    y = 8

    Therefore,

    x = 11 – 8

    x = 3.

    Hence, the original number is 308.

    803 – 308 = 495
