    let the two digits be 10x + y

    two digits number is obtained by multiplying sum of the digits 8 .

    10x+y = 8(x+y)

    2x=7y ………..(1)

    two digits number is obtained by multiplying the difference of the digits by 14 and adding 2

    10x+y=14(x-y)+2

    2x-15y=-2……..(2)

    from eq 1 and 2

    7y – 15y =-2

    -8y = -2

    y= -2/-8

    y=1/4

    And so 2x=7y

    7(1/4)

    =x=7/8
