    Let unit digit be x and ten’s digit be y

    then number =10y+x

    According to problem

    (10y+x)+(10x+y)=165

    ⇒ x+y=15…..(i)

    and x−y=3…….(ii)

    or y−x=3…….(iii)

    On solving equation (i) and (ii) x=9 and y=6

    ∴ The number will be 69

    On solving equation (i) and (iii) x=6 and y=9

    ∴ The number will be 96
